Friday, September 11 - Reception at Arrowhead, Lake Geneva, WI
Begin the weekend with a relaxed wine-and-cheese social Friday evening at a stunning Wright-inspired home on Lake Geneva, designed by architect Ken Dahlin. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow attendees in an intimate and architecturally rich setting. 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, $75.00 for Members, $100.00 for Non-Members. Includes wine and beer and light appetizers. There will be a panel discussion around 7:00 pm with the Architect, Homeowner, and, tentatively, the Builder. Spend the day exploring the remarkable Delavan Lake area, home to an extraordinary concentration of residences designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and other architects.
The experience begins with a private narrated boat tour aboard the Lake Lawn Queen, a 76 foot double decker tour boat, offering a rare vantage point of these iconic properties from the water. Following the boat tour, acclaimed Frank Lloyd Wright scholar and author Mark Hertzberg will present an engaging lecture on Penwern, the Fred B. Jones Residence (1900), and the extraordinary collection of Wright-designed companion structures that make this estate one of Wright's most significant Prairie-era compositions.
Guests will then be shuttled from Lake Lawn Resort to Penwern, the Fred B. Jones estate and location of four of the tour's buildings (Fred B. Jones Residence, stable, boat house, and Gate Lodge). Adjacent to Penwern, guests will also tour the Schwemm House (1994 - Brian A. Spencer). With first-floor and garden access, this distinguished residence serves as the "Like" property for the 2026 Tour.
Additional shuttle transportation will also transport guests to the other tour sites:

* Ross Summer House (1902 - Frank Lloyd Wright) - First Floor access
* Spencer Summer Cottage (1902 - Frank Lloyd Wright) - Exterior viewing
There will be three different check-in times for ticket holders (9:00 am, 10:00 am, and 11:00 am). $100.00 for Wright in Wisconsin members (and members of the Frank Lloyd Wright National Reciprocal Sites Program (up to two member tickets)) and $125.00 for non-members. * Parking will be at Lake Lawn Resort, 2400 East Geneva Street, Delavan, WI 53115 (Shuttles will transport guests to Penwern and smaller shuttles will transport guests to the other South Shore Drive tour sites)
* Tour sites are not disabled friendly
* Tour proceeds after expenses help support Wright in Wisconsin's mission "To promote, protect and preserve the heritage of Frank Lloyd Wright, his vision and his architecture, the work of his apprentices and Taliesin Architects, in his native state of Wisconsin".
