An American Home: Frank Lloyd Wright’s B. Harley Bradley House tells the interweaving stories of hardship and resurgence of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, his B. Harley Bradley House and the community of Kankakee, Illinois where the home resides.

The Bradley House is considered by many scholars to be a major turning point in the history of American Architecture as it helped usher in the Prairie Style. The film is an exploration of design, history, economics and historic preservation.

However, the film delves into much more than the home itself. It is a fair, but direct look at the life of Wright; the rise, fall and rebirth of Kankakee; those who sacrificed to save, preserve and rebuild the structure; and the many tragedies – including murders and suicides – that have surrounded the home.
